Since 17 July 2021 there is heavy rainfall all the day ad night. This causes flood in that Henan area. Along with Yellow river Henan province consist of 1030 rivers which are prone to flooding.
Henan province consist of 12 milion people sits on the bank of Yellow River.
Metrological department predict heavy rainfall for the next three days. President Xi Jinping deployed 5700 soldiers for rescue.

According to the BBC atleast 12 dead as of now ( 22-07-21) and thousand were rescued from the flood bt soldiers.
