What is eRUPI
eRUPI is a QR code or SMS string base e-voucher. Which directly send to the beneficiary.
During inauguration PM modi said”eRUPI voucher is going to play in a huge role in making DBT(Direct Benefits Transfer) more effective in digital transaction in the country. This will help everyone in targeted, transparent and leakage free Delivery”.
on addition he said “not only the govt but also any organisation who want to help someone in their treatment, education or any other work, they will be able to pay in eRUPI instead of cash.”
eRUPI voucher can be used in madical purpose, educational purpose, instead of giving cash one can provide this voucher.
on practical example, let’s say you want to help some for his or her study, abd you give money to her or him. But what is the guarantee that those money only be used in study .. so you can now give him or her a voucher which can be redeemed only for education staff purchase.
Who made eRUPI
The national payment corporation of India made eRUPI on their UPI platform, collaborating with departmental of financial service, ministry of health and family welfare and national health authority.
